NOISERR

NOISERR

Noiserr (Noise Reading and Research) is an interdisciplinary research group centered around explorations of Noise via deconstructed reading and listening sessions. Noiserr is an on-going exploration of Noise instantiated via theory- and practice-led investigative actions.

Noise Reading and Research

Noiserr was founded by Martina Raponi and Max Hampshire in September 2016. Since April 2017, Noiserr takes place on a monthly basis at Butcher's Tears, Amsterdam.
Besides the regular sessions, Noiserr has been hosting artists, thinkers, programmers, and curators within its program, which resulted in a collaboration with Cinemacephale in August 2017, a special session on Social Dissonance with Mattin (including his dOCUMENTA 14 performance "Social Dissonance" within the reading and research group) in January 2018, and a series of co-hosted sessions with Ioanna Gerakidi, Arkadiusz Półtorak, and Natasha Papadopoulou between March and April 2018.

Within the context of the collaboration with Regenerative Feedback, Noiserr landed also in Rotterdam, at WORM's Pirate Bay.
